Description
On one of my Dartmoor walks I stopped to sketch this extraordinary cloud, although it was difficult to capture it before it moved and changed shape.
It was a paler grey than the rest of the slate grey sky. The first swallows were swooping around, the fox was seen another day.
There are only 2 available variable limited edition prints of Festival of Swallows from a tiny edition of 3.
I wanted to add more energy and light to the print so I carved into the lino a bit more .

Individually pressed by my feet and the back of a spoon.
