Description
Out walking on the moors one day, I came across a beautiful black faced ram with curly horns. We stood looking at one another for a long few seconds sizing each other up, I was in awe but I doubt if he was! And as he turned his head to walk away I noticed one of his horns was packed full of the moorland flora … bracken, gorse, heather and hawthorn. I didn’t get long to see it but the vision was imprinted on my memory in technicolour clarity. In that moment I felt humbled, and honoured to be in his presence, as if I had been allowed into a secret world, the otherworld.
