This year I went wild camping on Dartmoor with my son and his fiancée.
At 3.15 am precisely the larks began to sing right above my head. Wonderful loud polyphonic voices telling us to wake up!
I got up to see a glow of light across the horizon in the North West , the sun not quite up.
There are several Lino cut prints available. The first variable edition is a small edition of only 3 prints, (‘3.15 Midsummer Morning’ ) just before the sky began to lighten.
The second open variable edition is called ‘3.20 Midsummer Morning’ , where the sky is a little lighter.
All are a little different in printed colour and some are hand painted with acrylic ink which makes them a bit more expensive.
They are printed on A3 size off white Kent paper. 190gms.
Printmaking inks are professional oil based water washable vegetable inks that are light fast.
