Description

Inspired by the story of the Scottish Cailleach or Beira (Irish and Scottish) Winter Queen.

A Celtic goddess who brought winter and ruled from Samhain to Beltane. She was also a creator of the landscape. Here she is throwing rocks down from her creel whilst blowing frost from her mouth and making it snow. Her hair flows free making the wind blow hard.

Although she is a goddess from the Scottish highlands, I have based the landscape on Dartmoor scenery, although some parts are similar anyway.

I think she is on her holidays and visiting Dartmoor.
